Think of stuff like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Built-in appliances (e.g., ovens, dishwashers)<\/li>\n<li>Light fixtures<\/li>\n<li>Plumbing fixtures (e.g., faucets, sinks)<\/li>\n<li>Cabinets and countertops<\/li>\n<li>Wall-to-wall carpeting<\/li>\n<li>Curtain rods and blinds<\/li>\n<li>Landscaping elements (e.g., trees, shrubs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If there&#8217;s something you want to take with you, let&#8217;s make sure it&#8217;s clear in the listing and in your contract so there are no surprises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Handling Furniture and Loose Items:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For furniture and other loose items, you\u2019ve got a few options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Plan Ahead<\/strong>: If you want to keep any furniture or items, go ahead and start moving them out before listing. It helps buyers imagine their own stuff in the space.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deal<\/strong>: You can also negotiate if you&#8217;re open to leaving some pieces behind.
