Who we are
We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome and a stimulating environment for the children in our care.
The preschool is a charity run by a volunteer committee and staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners. We accept children aged two upwards and have a high staff to child ratio.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm (term time only). We take all funding options including government funding . See our Admissions and Funding page to find out more. For information on our current hourly fees, please call or email using the contact details on the left.

Early Years Childcare
Holgate Pre-school is an early years childcare setting that provides fully funded childcare with no hidden costs to the families around Acomb, Holgate and surrounding areas.
We offer totally free childcare, using your government funding. Included in your funded hours are extra curricular activities such as Rugby Tots, Jazzy J’s dance class and trips around the local area!
Our team have been trained in WellComm, a nationwide recognised training programme to support children with their early communication and language.
